A fundraising dinner was requested by the local community to raise funds for the victims of the Pakistan floods, which was then organised by SPMA with over 25 organisations and businesses supporting the cause.
The event was supported by 35 volunteers and attended by over 500 guests, including The Pakistan Consulate and SMBC Councillors. Total raised over £34,000.
On Sunday 13th November 2022, SPMA, in partnership with organisations such as IMAN and Mercy Relief, organised a fundraising dinner to support those suffering from the tragic floods in Pakistan. This event was hosted by actor and award winning comedian Mani Liaqat and had a special guest appearance from the Awais Mian Qawalli group.
We are very grateful for those that attended and for the overwhelming success of raising over £34,000 which was all directly donated to mercy relief.
